I'm on my way to Philadelphia Miniaturia this weekend. If you are coming to the show, please stop by my table to see the pieces I've been posting lately, and to say hello!
I love it!!! Very reminiscent of my grey tabby trying to reach a window ledge by jumping off one of my dollhouses roofs, he knocked it onto the floor. It is wonderful!!! Cheers, Jean
Inspired by the Duth baby houses of the 18th Century. 1:144 scale rooms by Nell Corkin; 1:12 scale cabinet by Gilbert Mena. This piece is sold; a similar pierce can be ordered.
The Tower House
A small English castle of the late 15th century, with later additions. To see this original design from concept to completion, go to the January and February 2009 archives. This one of a kind piece is now in a private collection
Sunday Painter
A forest cottage made from a real walnut. The painting in the foreground is an original watercolor. This piece has been sold, but I bring new walnut cottages to every show.
Ohhhhh.... I just love this! What a great idea. I love touches of humour in a doll's house.
