The pargeted house was so much fun, I just had to do another one. What could be more perfect than a decorated cake shop? If there isn't a real pargeted shop like thios somewhere, there certainly should be! The interior has a pastry shop on the ground floor and a cozy tea room upstairs.
Inspired by the Duth baby houses of the 18th Century. 1:144 scale rooms by Nell Corkin; 1:12 scale cabinet by Gilbert Mena. This piece is sold; a similar pierce can be ordered.
The Tower House
A small English castle of the late 15th century, with later additions. To see this original design from concept to completion, go to the January and February 2009 archives. This one of a kind piece is now in a private collection
Sunday Painter
A forest cottage made from a real walnut. The painting in the foreground is an original watercolor. This piece has been sold, but I bring new walnut cottages to every show.

ReplyDeleteI love this Nell! It's perfection! I hope one day I may be able to see some of your houses at a show, and see all the tiny detail for myself.
