Just in time for IGMA! A small half-timber house with a cozy interior.
I couldn't quite decide on a name, so finally settled on Lyttleford Cottage, after the imaginary town I invented as a home for my mini English houses and shops.
Inspired by the Duth baby houses of the 18th Century. 1:144 scale rooms by Nell Corkin; 1:12 scale cabinet by Gilbert Mena. This piece is sold; a similar pierce can be ordered.
The Tower House
A small English castle of the late 15th century, with later additions. To see this original design from concept to completion, go to the January and February 2009 archives. This one of a kind piece is now in a private collection
Sunday Painter
A forest cottage made from a real walnut. The painting in the foreground is an original watercolor. This piece has been sold, but I bring new walnut cottages to every show.
Nell, It is so wonderful! There is so much detail and I love the landscaping! It looks like an ideal place to live!
